The Data Protection Act controls how your personal information is used by organisations, businesses or the government. Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified rom that data. The director of Essex and Suffolk Electrical is the data controller and decides how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.

Essex and Suffolk Electrical is responsible for using data and will follow the data protection principles. We must make sure the information is:

  • Used for limited, specifically stated purposes

  • To maintain our own accounts and records
  • To notify the NIC EIC and Gas Safe for the relevant building control regulations
  • To abide by the rules and regulations of companies house and HMRC

 

Consent of the data subject so that we can carry out the necessary processing for carrying out obligations under employment. Processing only relates to employees, customers, contractors, customers who enquire or suppliers we use. There is no disclosure to a third party without consent. Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential.
